Preheating for the replacement of broken LCD display glass

• Compact preheating for direct contact heating of mobile phone touchscreens (Samsung, HTC, LG, iPhone, Nokia, Microsoft, Huawei, etc.) and smaller tablets for the purpose of disassembly and replacement.
• Thanks to the heating, the adhesive that bonds the cover glass to the LCD panel is loosened, making the removal of broken cover glass without damaging the LCD panel itself much easier and significantly increasing the success rate of the process.
• Compared to a conventional hot air gun, which is the most common tool for heating displays, the use of preheating for LCD displays is much gentler, as it prevents temperature overshoot due to uneven heat application.
• Heat is distributed evenly, ensuring that each part of the display reaches the selected temperature.
• The preheating can also be used to warm up printed circuit boards (PCBs) for easier rework of BGA chips using hot air stations.
• The temperature can be set on the preheating in two fixed values: 50°C or 200°C.
• The lower temperature is for heating LCD modules, while the higher is for preheating PCBs.
• The LCD preheater is supplied with a silicone mat that is placed on the heating plate, serving as protection against scratching the phone or tablet and compensating for some unevenness between the frame and the cover glass of the phone.
• The entire preheating station is made of metal.
